Why women always?

Many people, many organizations, and many feminists are always talking about women’s rights. Did they succeed in what they are trying to convey to the people? I believe we are all aware of the truth. We, the youth, are far more aware of what is still happening to women in the world and has always been happening over the ages.

Being a woman is not easy to survive. I’m not saying that men do not have problems, they also have. But they are not meant to be shamed for their survival, they are not domestically violated and they are not being victims of rape every second, no one question on their clothes, they don’t need to hide from the society in sarees and ghunghats all the times. It’s us, women. I’m asking you why?

Why is it such a shame for families to have a girl child?

I know the time has changed a lot but the stereotypical thinking of our society is still there. They still feel that a girl child is a burden for them. Because a girl’s survival necessitates a great deal of effort. They still believe that investing time and money in a girl’s education is a waste of both. I’ve seen a lot of folks like this, and I’m sure you’ve seen a lot as well. But the difference is that you don’t care, whereas I do, and you can do the same.

About the myth about women’s attire causing sexual violence. It has nothing to do with the things she was wearing; it has everything to do with the filthy-minded thinking of society’s nasty guys, who are brave enough to believe that a woman is too weak to survive their terrible thoughts of harassing her.

It was exhibited by a very imaginative exhibition at the University of Kansas in Washington in 2017 by students showing the clothes of 18 rape victims and their experiences to raise awareness that it is not their fault for wearing regular human clothing. It is the society that makes these kinds of myths about women’s clothing and linking it with their character.

What happens to those who question the low society’s cultural practices? You’re probably all familiar with the case of Bhaveri Devi, a social worker in Rajasthan. She launched a wave against child marriage, but she was brutally gang-raped by the folks whose daughter’s child marriage she was attempting to stop.

A woman is worthy of love and respect. They also want to feel freedom by making their own choices without fear of being judged by patriarchal society. All you can do is join ladies on their mission to overcome all obstacles. Put yourself in their position and observe the world. Many others are still dealing with the harassment. So get up, wake up and make this world awake too.
